A Parthian White Stone Pendant of a Ram, 247 B.C to 224 A.D.
The ram's body is positioned in a relaxed, horizontal posture with its legs tucked beneath it. The sculptor has captured the animal’s muscular structure with careful attention to detail, from the smooth curve of its back to the well-defined contours of its legs. The head is turned slightly to one side, with prominent, spiralling horns that add a dramatic flair to its gentle expression. Its eyes are carved with subtle expression, adding life to the piece.
